Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

One month after functional rhinoplasty + cosmetic rhinoplasty!

I had functional rhinoplasty and cosmetic rhinoplasty together. For the cosmetic part, I had the nasal bridge, hump nose, extension, and bulbous nose correction done. Functionally, my left nostril was narrow, so even when it wasn’t blocked, it felt stuffy when I breathed. I’m still recovering, so my nose sometimes gets blocked, but when it isn’t blocked, I can definitely feel that breathing is easier than before.

Cosmetically, before surgery my nose was too small compared with my face, so my cheekbones and mouth looked protruded. I had a severe complex about my nose since I was young, but after surgery, even when I take side-profile photos, my mouth looks less protruded, and my face looks much more three-dimensional than before, so I no longer feel stressed about taking photos. Before surgery, people around me were all negative, saying things like, “Why would a man get plastic surgery? You don’t look bad now, just live as you are.” But now, one month later, people around me say it looks natural, as if it were originally my nose, but much better. From before the surgery, I thought that of course I envied celebrities like Ji Chang-wook and Lee Soo-hyuk who have high, handsome noses, but that didn’t mean I wanted to just make my nose extremely high. I wanted to get rid of the complex I had about my nose, have it suit my original face well, and still have a cosmetic effect compared with before. I’m satisfied now. I hope I can live like this without side effects.
