When I was in 5th grade, I used two mirrors and looked at my side profile, and I was really shocked by how different I looked from other people... After that, I was under severe stress, and as soon as I started my first job, I saved money. To get surgery for a protruding mouth + retruded chin.. It was about 15 years ago, and I think the surgery cost around 15 to 16 million won at the time. I was just starting out in society, so I didn’t know about things like credit cards, and I just ignorantly saved that money for 2 years. In the end, I had the surgery, and at the time I was so satisfied. All I could see was that my mouth had gone in... But after time passed and I looked at it, my retruded chin was so severe that even though they advanced my chin with osteotomy, I still had a double chin. (They said there’s a limit to how far the chin can be brought forward with osteotomy.) I heard this while looking into fixing my chin, and they said I should have had double jaw surgery back then, not protruding mouth surgery. But they said that at the time, protruding mouth surgery was really trendy... This is TMI, but while browsing a community, I saw that putting silicone in the chin looked like such a simple surgery and all the reviews looked pretty, so I almost booked a consultation + surgery right away. But since the surgery is easy, there are also a lot of problems.. So I looked into something safer than that, and this apparently costs around another 15 million won... It’s more expensive than I thought, so I’m definitely going to do it, but I’ve pushed it back to the very end...
So what I want to say is, everyone who is looking into protruding mouth surgery now! I hope you also look into double jaw surgery, not just protruding mouth surgery. And this applies to all cosmetic surgery, but this is a major surgery that changes your facial shape, so consult many places!!
