I got orthodontic treatment because of malocclusion, and I also had a retruded chin + protruding mouth. I proceeded with ceramic braces with extractions. One mandibular molar was badly decayed and needed an implant, so I had two maxillary premolars + two mandibular molars extracted, and they pulled a mandibular wisdom tooth forward to use like a molar. Because of this, the treatment period became extremely long. It was uncomfortable and hard for a long time, 3 years and 6 months, but I am very satisfied with the result. There was nothing I could do about the retruded chin, but the protrusion improved a lot. On the other hand, my dental arch became narrower, so it feels like there is a little less room for my tongue, but I was so satisfied that my teeth became straight. The important thing is that I didn't wear my retainer diligently, so now my teeth have shifted a bit... Everyone, please wear your retainers properly... I also thought about getting orthodontic treatment again, but even so, my teeth are much better now than before treatment, so I decided to just be satisfied and live with it! If you're thinking about orthodontic treatment, finding a good dental clinic is important, but I recommend looking for one as close as possible.. There are more times than expected when you suddenly have to go to the dentist ㅠㅠ
