It has already been four months since I had chin advancement surgery! My chin is relatively short, so I was never happy with my side profile. After deliberating, I decided to undergo chin advancement. I had T-shaped osteotomy and advanced the chin by about 3 mm. I did not want an overly dramatic change, so I asked for a natural result. At first, the swelling was severe and the shape was not what I had imagined, so I worried a lot, but as time passed it definitely improved. The swelling has gone down considerably now, and I especially like my side profile much more than before. Even from the front, my jawline seems more natural. It has not fully settled yet, but I am satisfied so far I was very worried before surgery, but now I think I made the right decision!
