Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Successful double-jaw surgery for crooked teeth and malocclusion that started in childhood haha

Hello. It has been six months since my double-jaw surgery and two facial contouring procedures (square jaw and chin). Since elementary school, I had malocclusion, which made my teeth look slightly crooked. I had a complex about my unnatural-looking face in photos and always came out looking unattractive, and I strongly wanted to become prettier, so I worried even more during middle and high school. Other people could notice it, so I wondered whether I should have surgery, but I was afraid of having my face cut open and could not even consider it. I would have regretted spending my twenties without ever dating, so I was finally able to undergo double-jaw surgery in February of the year I turned 29. I remember seeing Dr. Lee Seok-jae on YouTube by chance and hearing that he always prayed before performing surgery; I thought I could trust him and immediately set a surgery date. During the first two or three weeks after surgery, the swelling was severe, so I ate finely blended porridge and could not eat anything chewy or large. Now, four to six months later, I can eat most foods, including hamburgers, pizza, and tteokbokki. I am still undergoing orthodontic treatment, so I cannot eat chewy, tough meat well, but I can eat it if I cut it into small pieces. When I first wore braces, my gums felt very tight and it hurt a little when chewing in the morning, but the pain decreased as my teeth gradually aligned. During orthodontic treatment, [Clinic A] attached wires to my teeth, cured them in place, and added wires between the brackets. Six months later, my bite fits better and feels more comfortable than immediately after surgery. My lower face is also much more balanced than before, so I look prettier, and people around me often say I look younger. If you are considering double-jaw or contouring surgery, I strongly recommend getting a consultation at [Clinic A]:)
