Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I had my 4th and final surgery to remove the silicone

I went in for a consultation only to improve my wide nose I naturally had a nasal bridge Nasal tip + ear cartilage + osteotomy We decided to place a thin 2 mm layer of silicone

That was the plan, but the osteotomy was not performed properly, so 5 months later I had the osteotomy done again, but the wide area still did not improve, so 2 weeks later I had another osteotomy After taking off the tape, I thought it was finally done, but 2-3 weeks later, the nasal bridge area bulged out The director also seemed puzzled, as if they did not know the cause I had a CT scan Because the osteotomized bone and the silicone were not in close contact, fluid accumulated, and because it was found early, it had not progressed to an inflammatory reaction, but the nasal bridge stayed bulged I received IV antibiotics for 5 days They inserted a syringe into the nasal bridge and drained the fluid The director also said that if treatment did not improve it, removing the silicone would be the answer

It seemed to improve, but two days later it bulged again After visiting the clinic, we decided to remove the silicone It is day 2 after removal

Just rambling on These 8 months have been so hard I will still have to keep watching it from now on, but nose surgery is not easy, and you really have to decide carefully It can give satisfaction, but there will definitely be responsibilities that come with it too
