Day 7 review after nose surgery and chin implant surgery
I had a complex about my nose since I was young, so I visited a hospital for a nose surgery consultation. I got the consultation, and the director said I also had a bit of a recessed chin, and that if I put an implant in my chin, it would also improve my protruding mouth, so it would be better. They didn’t force me, but I had gone in only thinking about nose surgery. Still, I had felt before that I had a protruding mouth, and they said recessed chin surgery was simple too, so I had the surgery without having seen any reviews from others about recessed chin surgery. Even so, the director showed me a lot of before-and-after photos of other patients and explained calmly, and I felt trust in what they said, so I booked the surgery date right away. After having surgery, today is already day 7. For my nose, since the splint has not been removed yet, other than itchiness, there is honestly nothing uncomfortable, but my chin is the problem. Is it usually this painful? The swelling is still less compared to reviews of nose surgery and chin surgery, but both cheek areas are still a bit swollen, and I started eating regular food from day 4. I also can’t open my mouth wide, so I still haven’t been able to brush my teeth and have only used mouthwash. It aches and hurts like I have a cavity, so I’m going to visit the hospital in person and ask.. I hope it gets better with time..
