I went ahead and did eyes + nose all at once, but I already left my eye surgery review at 1 month, so this is my nose surgery review! First of all, my nostril wings were really small, and my nasal tip drooped slightly. I had both a hump nose and bulbous nose, and my septal deviation was extremely severe, so my nose was crooked too... it was literally like the embodiment of asymmetry ㅜ Like a baby’s nose, I had no nasal bridge at all between the eyebrows, but the nasal tip was high? Yet the tip itself drooped downward... it was that kind of inexplicable nose, and I think this small nose was honestly a lifelong source of stress...
And my nose... has become firm, but now the surrounding tissue has all healed too, and it almost feels like my own nose. But they say you have to watch the nose even up to 6 months! I think it takes about that long for the surrounding tissue to settle back into place.
I honestly didn’t worry much about side effects, just took the medicine as instructed and lived like that, so I didn’t have any particular issues, and my satisfaction with the surgery is very high. If something went wrong and they told me to have revision surgery ㅜㅜ I think I would really hate it. For me, having my nose blocked for a day was the most painful part. I couldn’t taste anything... For the first few months, whenever I wore a mask, the nasal tip would rub and turn red. Silicone inevitably had to be inserted, but the nasal height is originally my own height, and I think they just matched the nasal tip and added a bit more to the nasal bridge area.
I kept insisting, seriously, absolutely natural!!! so I’m even more satisfied, and if I don’t tell my friends, most of them can barely tell!!!!
When my friends around me saw that I had surgery, they made such a fuss saying they were tempted to do it too. And since I did it as functional + cosmetic surgery, of course the cosmetic portion of the cost was reduced! I got quite a lot reimbursed through private insurance, so I felt good!!!!
Definitely, breathing through my nose is more comfortable than before! That’s what I like the most... ㅜㅜ Since I don’t sniffle as much as I used to, I feel like my quality of life has shot straight up.
I think it’s been about 3 months and 3 weeks. The nose definitely has a big effect on the impression of the face, and now I can go out confidently even with a bare face!
