5. ㄹㅂㄹ Plastic Surgery (Director Yoon)
-Consultation fee: 10,000 won -Waiting time: 1 hour and a half (....) -Consultation order: DSLR photos -> CT scan -> consultation with the consultant -> consultation with the director (waited 1 hour from consultant consultation to director...)-> price consultation with the consultant -Pressure to pay a deposit: A little? But not severe -Consultant: First, she asked a lot about the nose vibe I wanted. At other plastic surgery clinics they say things like, “You absolutely have to do this part!!” but here they tend to match entirely to my taste. So you need to think deeply before going about what kind of nose you want.
-Director: First of all, he has a very gentle, calm way of speaking. Maybe because it’s a private clinic, it definitely felt different from large clinics, with a strong sense that they were trying to customize things 1:1. But since I was past my 5th consultation, honestly, well.. it was all stuff I already knew, so it was just okay haha. If it were someone going for their first consultation, they probably would have been completely won over (kind + warm + meticulous feeling). Also, my face is on the long side, and he paid a lot of attention to not making the midface look longer. He didn’t mention the hump at all, and for the first time, he suggested that we consider alar reduction once too (separately after nose surgery). And I thought I had a bulbous nose, but he said I didn’t and even explained it with paper folding (yes, cute).
Overall review: People who went here for consultation had such good reviews that I had huge expectations + I waited about 2 months for the consultation, but for me it was just okay.. First, the things I didn’t like were 1) he strongly insisted I needed autologous costal cartilage (even though it’s my first surgery.. I understand the reason, but still) 2) the price was absurdly high.. 3) he said silicone had to be used at the nasal tip 4) when I asked about after-service, he said it is free for 1 year, but only if something is significantly wrong surgically/medically!! So I thought, ah.. unless it’s really extreme, even if something goes wrong they probably won’t do it||
