1. Gangnam ㄷㄷㅇ (ㄱㅌㅅ) - No CT scan, only photos were taken. - Since the septal cartilage can only really be known after opening it up, they seemed to think CT imaging was meaningless. - They said septal cartilage and ear cartilage would be used, and whether osteotomy is needed would only be known during surgery. - The director was kind, but seemed busy. Rather than feeling like they analyzed me in a customized way, it felt like they were steering things toward the comfortable style the director usually does, so I thought it might feel like a nose factory and passed for now.
2. Jamsil ㄹㅁㅊ (ㅁㅎㅈ) - Both CT and photos were taken - Use of septal cartilage and ear cartilage, osteotomy needed, bulbous nose correction - I trusted this place the most because they analyzed my face while explaining things. Why it looks this way, what characteristics my face has, and therefore what direction the surgery should take, etc. The consultant was kind too, and the director explained things in great detail, so this is the place I’m most drawn to. But it also seems to be a place with a lot of talk around it, so I’m really torn.
3. Nonhyeon ㅁㅋ(ㅇㅈㅈ) - Only CT was taken, no photos, but they explained while showing me a 3D image. - Donor rib/autologous costal cartilage use (septal cartilage not possible), osteotomy needed, long nose correction - Since it was my first consultation and I didn’t know much yet when I had it, there were a lot of things I felt were lacking. Rather than explaining first, they tended to tell me more details only if I asked. Still, the explanation was okay and they were kind, but I don’t think it suited me. It seemed like they recommend rib cartilage in most cases if possible, and the consultant pressured me too much about the reservation deposit.
I’m planning to visit more hospitals, but are there any hospitals that are good at lowering the nostril rim?
