Six months ago, I had my first rhinoplasty at a private hospital that was said to be famous in the community, but around three months later my nasal tip visibly drooped. I considered getting a revision through aftercare, but after being disappointed once, I did not feel confident entrusting it to them again. I researched revision rhinoplasty extensively and had it redone by Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at [Clinic A]. Silicone, donated rib cartilage, and ear cartilage were used, along with correction of my long nose and arrow-shaped tip. After the first surgery, my nasal tip gradually descended and made my nose look longer, which was stressful. This time that part is definitely different. The feeling that my nose became long and drooped when I smiled has improved a lot, perhaps thanks to the nasal-tip cartilage binding the doctor mentioned during the consultation. The lower part of my nose used to taper sharply like an arrow-shaped nose, but now the shape from the tip to the columella looks much more stable. Since this was revision surgery, I cared less about becoming glamorous and more about finally getting the shape properly established, and so far that is what I like most. After experiencing it once, I used to check several times a day whether my tip had drooped lol, but it is still holding its shape well. I guess there is a reason people keep seeking out famous surgeons... After two surgeries, I can finally look at my nose without immediately searching for what is lacking, and that alone is a relief.
