Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Chin deficiency concerns, double osteotomy

Before surgery, facial asymmetry and a receding chin were my biggest concerns. Every time I took a photo, I was especially self-conscious about my side profile, and I was very stressed because my chin looked short. I consulted several hospitals, but Yangyundol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery gave me confidence because during the consultation they explained my current condition, the surgical method, and the recovery process in detail. It also had a big influence on my decision that they suggested an approach suited to my condition without any excessive pressure. Right after the surgery, there was swelling and discomfort, but my recovery went more smoothly than I expected. In the beginning, eating and daily life were a little inconvenient, but as time passed I gradually adjusted, and I focused on recovery while steadily following the care instructions given by the hospital. It has now been 10 weeks since the surgery, and as the swelling has gone down a lot, what I am most satisfied with is how naturally my facial line has settled. More than anything, having a jawline appear on my face that used to have a receding chin has made my side profile and overall facial balance much better. In the past, taking photos felt burdensome, but now I can take photos confidently. I have not fully recovered yet, but I am very satisfied with the results so far, and I am so pleased that the time I spent worrying before surgery does not feel wasted.
