Our surgeon, the one who made a gorgeous banana-shaped nose for us over at Voldemort.. Two of my relatives had surgery here too, and they still haven’t had any side effects (4 years in). On the first day after surgery, when they packed the nose with gauze, it didn’t hurt at all all day, and even when they removed it the next day, it didn’t hurt. At first it feels like maybe it’s too high, but after about 6 months it gets fine. The septum part, which is the surgical scar, didn’t really stretch when I closed my mouth tightly, so I kept wondering if it would stay like that, but now that a year has passed, it’s to the point where I don’t think about it at all.
