Posting my 6-month review of double jaw surgery. The swelling has gone down a lot, and aside from my lips and the center of my chin occasionally feeling numb, there is no major discomfort in daily life. I am quite satisfied with the surgery, and people around me do not notice anything awkward. If I do not say I had surgery, no one would know at all. Before surgery, my asymmetry and square jaw were severe, so when I chewed, my teeth and jaw hurt together and there was a sound from my temporomandibular joint, but now there is no sound at all from the TMJ. My teeth and jaw do not hurt either. My appearance has improved a lot too, so I have been living very satisfied.
