It took me quite a long time to make up my mind that I needed double jaw surgery! Looking back now, the beginning of that worry was always molar pain and an uncomfortable bite, and on top of that I started feeling like my jaw was looking bigger and bigger, so I thought that functionally and aesthetically, I could not keep going like this! While I was looking into different hospitals, I kept seeing reviews on blogs, Q&A sites, and communities like 여우야 about people who had double jaw surgery from Dr. Kim Jong-yun at I-Yu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and because they focused more on real experiences than exaggerated stories, it really built trust and strongly influenced my choice!! At 1 month after surgery, I still felt like I was in recovery, but I adjusted to the changes in my face sooner than I expected, and when I visited the hospital I heard that my recovery was going steadily, which helped me stop feeling unnecessarily anxious!! Now that it has been 2 months, it still has only been two months, but everyday life has already become so natural that I almost do not even think about the fact that I had surgery isn't that amazing! Eating is also much more comfortable than before, so it feels like the rhythm of my life has completely returned. I am still being careful with what I eat, but that process feels less like an inconvenience and more like a sign that recovery is going well, and above all I am very satisfied that I can live without pain or anxiety!!! I chose this surgery expecting a big change, but after going through it, it feels less like I changed too much and more like my face is settling in naturally and beautifully as if it had always been this way. So if there are others with the same worries, I think that if you calmly go through the recovery process like I did, you can definitely expect a stable result. Thank you once again, Dr. Kim Jong-yun!
