Yang Yundol Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 7-Month Chin Advancement Review

Hello, I would like to share my 7-month review after having chin advancement surgery at Yang Yundol Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry. I had long felt insecure about my chin, so I decided to have surgery. My chin retrusion was severe, so they performed surgery with a 13 mm double osteotomy. Right after the surgery, the nurses helped me very well, so I was discharged without problems. For about the first two weeks after surgery, I had pain in my chin, reduced sensation, and severe swelling, so I worried whether the surgery had gone well. After that, the swelling went down rapidly. By one month, most of the sensation had returned, the swelling had decreased a lot, and the pain was gone. As of three months, the small remaining swelling had gone down a lot, so my face looked slimmer than at one month, and my sensation had completely returned to the same as before surgery. And now, seven months later, all the swelling is gone, and there are no side effects such as numbness or other problems that I had worried about. The bones have fully united now, and my overall satisfaction is high because the surgery was done naturally, just as I wanted, and the sensory issue I was worried about has also fully returned. For anyone with similar concerns, I recommend Yang Yundol Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry.
