Do not get orthodontic treatment when you are very young

I had buck teeth so severe that I could not close my mouth, so from around 5th grade through middle school I had orthodontic treatment for nearly 4 years. But I actually chose the wrong dental clinic, and I think I was treated by someone like a quack doctor or a person with fake credentials. T_T These days hospitals are better, so it might be okay, but back then I ended up seeing someone like that. Now that I look at my teeth, the roots are all gone, and they say that when I am in my 50s or 60s, all of my teeth will fall out.. And my teeth have become extremely weak, so I cannot bite into anything hard. Even root canal treatment and the like take an incredibly long time and are very difficult. Orthodontic treatment is truly a choice I do not regret, but think carefully, research the clinic well, and I recommend doing it slowly without rushing!!!! And I definitely recommend getting a retainer fixed in place. Even if people say it will come loose, just go and have it reattached. I had the lower teeth fixed in place and the upper teeth on a removable type, but I lost it and everything became a mess, so in the end my teeth shifted back a little. The lower teeth are completely fine and have never come loose.
