A patient who received double jaw surgery from Director Kim Jong-yun at Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and I had double jaw + contouring surgery at the same time! Even at 3 months, I felt like I had recovered to some extent, but at 4 months the feeling that I had clearly stabilized became even stronger lol The most noticeable change is my mouth opening! Thanks to consistent practice, I can now open wide enough to fit about four fingers, and because of that, eating has become much less uncomfortable. If I used to have to worry about the size or type of food, now I can eat naturally without cutting things very small, so the stress from everyday life has definitely gone down! And if up to 3 months it felt like I was still in recovery, now it feels like it is just becoming more and more familiar as my face. The swelling keeps going down too, so the overall line feels more refined, and especially the side profile and jawline connect much more naturally, which makes me feel more satisfied every time I look in the mirror lol There are visible changes too, but there have been quite a few changes in styling as well! Before, because of my face shape, I thought hats did not suit me, so I hardly ever wore them, but these days I find myself trying different ones. Since my face got smaller and my proportions changed, the same style looks different, so I am casually satisfied with that too! There is still some swelling left, so there is room to get even slimmer, which makes me look forward to that, and even now it is already natural enough and not awkward at all, so meeting people feels completely comfortable lol It feels like it is settling more and more as time passes, so I am even more excited about what is ahead, and personally I think around the 4-month mark is when it really starts to feel like I made the right decision to have surgery! lol
