It's already been 6 months since I started orthodontic treatment. When I first started, I was told that chin and dental alignment correction would take 2-3 years, so it felt vaguely far away, but time seems to pass faster than I expected haha. I still haven't been able to get the main appliance on yet, but when I close my mouth, the gap between the molars on the right side, by my standards, tends to open up, so I've been wearing an elastic band between the right molars for about 6 months to narrow the space. On the left molars, resin was applied so the right molars do not collide. Now, at the 6-month mark, if I take photos, I can see that the center line is matching better than before. I still need to check what it will be like after removing the resin from the left molars, though. Before, my front teeth were off by half a tooth on the right side, but it seems to have improved a lot, so I'm proud of it and I worry about it less than before, which puts my mind at ease.
