My nose wasn't extremely ugly, but there were really many people around me getting nose surgery. After they had surgery, they also seemed more mature, and even to me, their friend, they looked prettier;; So I decided I should do it too, recommended it to my friends, searched through all the categories, and finally went through all the reviews in this community and visited several clinics for consultations. Comparing them during consultations, there was definitely one place I was drawn to lol. The famous places I visited were disappointing because the doctors' consultations were too short and it felt like the coordinators recommended additional surgeries more aggressively. So many places also pressured me to pay a deposit. I visited about six clinics T_T. At [Clinic A], where I had surgery, the doctor felt my nose and carefully explained that narrowing the bony line with an osteotomy, rearranging the nasal tip cartilage, and using silicone together would create a stronger frontal effect. The material recommendations were similar to those at other clinics, but I liked the design they gave me, and it felt like I was being treated as a truly valued patient, so I was comfortable with it. Also, I had a lot of questions, so I wrote them down and brought them with me. The doctor showed no sign of being bothered and checked each point to see whether it suited my facial proportions, saying they would create natural dimension without going too far. That gave me the most confidence. The coordinator also recommended only the surgeries I actually needed without overtreatment, so after thinking for about three days, I paid the deposit right away. I went under sedation, and when I woke up, the surgery was over. Maybe because of the osteotomy, quite a lot of bruising and swelling appeared around my eyes and cheeks on days two and three! Still, I diligently used compresses as the doctor instructed and took pumpkin juice to help with the swelling. Finally, the day came to remove the splint.. I was more nervous than ever, but as soon as it came off, I went wild inside when I looked in the mirror,,, lol. Even though there was still swelling, I could see that the old broad and low-looking appearance had completely disappeared. Honestly, at first I was scared and agonized over whether I really needed an osteotomy that involved shaving the bone. But, just as the doctor pointed out during the consultation, for a low, wide, bulbous nose like mine, the slimming effect is on another level when an osteotomy is included. Ah, and when you visit consultations, I think you can really tell which clinic suits you. Visit several places, figure out exactly what line you want, and compare it with the line the doctor designs for you!! One tip for swelling: pharmacies sell swelling medicine, you know? I used it and felt the swelling went down quickly. I also recommend taking frequent walks, absolutely. I guess that's why everyone says to have surgery when the weather is getting milder rather than in summer.
