My nasal tip was very swollen, so when the splint came off I instantly got scared because it looked like an upturned nose.. About 2 hours after the splint was removed, the initial shock had worn off. It had been more upturned because of the first surgery and contracture, so I felt really upset, but it is still very swollen, so I do not know for sure yet. Still, compared with before surgery, my nostrils seem to have come down and my nose seems to have dropped a little too.. If the swelling just goes down well without any more upturning, I think that would be great. I will only know for sure after more time passes, but I feel relieved that the nose that had been upturned has come down even a little~~ It is lower than before surgery. I was worried because my original nose was also upturned, but I am glad it has not become even more upturned. The pain and pulling sensation in my nose before surgery are gone too, which feels nice~~ I hope I recover safely and well~~
