My nose was originally really low and bulbous... From the front, it looked wide and spread out, and the bridge was almost invisible, so I kept thinking I should get nose surgery someday, but honestly, I half-gave up because I thought a bulbous nose was just something you're born with and couldn't change much lol Still, I got tired of adjusting my nose in photos every time, and especially the round, bulbous look from the front stressed me out so much that I went in for a consultation. I had a consultation with Dr. Goo, and he explained really well why my nose looked wide and why the bulbous-nose impression appeared even stronger. He didn't feel like he was just adding random things, and only pointed out the necessary parts, so I trusted him. I like natural results, so I said I wanted the bulbous-nose feeling organized and a nose line created, rather than just making it higher, and I think he reflected that well. It's been three months now, and what I'm happiest about is the front view. The width of the nose that used to look round and spread out has been refined, and the tip looks much slimmer too. The side view is also not excessively high at the bridge, but with a moderate amount of height, it looks much prettier. It feels like my appearance anxiety has been healed These days I don't have the habit of zooming in on my nose right after taking photos as much anymore. Before, I didn't want to upload photos without retouching, but now even unedited shots look fine, and that's what makes me happiest. I'm someone who swells easily, so swelling was one of the things I worried about, but there was less swelling than I expected, and breathing was completely fine with no discomfort from a little over a month after surgery.
