I was recommended orthognathic surgery at a university hospital, and since it was a hospital where a acquaintance's child goes, I got referred and went there. At most other hospitals, they said to extract teeth, but here they recommended non-extraction + screws followed by chin surgery, and I am now 10 months into treatment. My upper jaw was originally long, so I don't think orthodontic treatment alone can make me 100% satisfied.
The price was 4.1 million won for the appliance fee (originally 4.4 million won, but 300,000 won off as an acquaintance discount), the examination fee was deducted if I proceeded with orthodontic treatment, screws were 150,000 won each for 4 screws, monthly fees were 60,000 won, and the retainer fee is separate.
