I had my nose revision surgery again this time. Honestly, I was really worried this time too, thinking what if it failed again T_T Since I had undergone nose surgery several times, contracture was unavoidable So I looked around a lot for a place that handles contracture noses often and went for a consultation at [Clinic A]. Director B J-h. was good because he spoke in a realistic way rather than just saying pleasant things. This surgery really needed to focus on improvement
And like anyone else, I especially have a hard time with nasal packing... so I thought I would suffer again this time, but here the director said he controls bleeding well during surgery, so recovery is possible without packing. That really took away about half of my surgery anxiety here lol
It has been about a month since the surgery now! The swelling went down faster than I expected, and the area where the costal cartilage was taken from was not to the point where I could not move around. Recovery was pretty fast! As someone experienced with revision nose surgery, if there is not much rib-cartilage pain, that means the surgeon has good hands lol
And for the nasal tip, they built a four-point support structure with autologous costal cartilage and shaped the overall line to be elegant. The stability of the tip definitely feels different from before lol Before, when viewed from the front, the nostrils were more upturned, so the contracture look felt stronger, but now it looks much more natural and my impression feels softer too!!
