Mid-40s 3D custom nose revision review

Hello :) I am in my mid-40s, and I had my first nose surgery in 2000. I remember they used Gore-Tex and ear cartilage at the time. The reason I decided on revision rhinoplasty was that, as time passed, the skin over the nasal bridge became thinner, the implant started to show through, and I began to notice a step-off. Also, as the implant gradually shifted upward, the tip looked lifted too, and the starting point between the eyebrows rose as well, so the overall impression felt unnatural and it caused me a lot of stress. Before my consultation at ALU, I had about four revision consultations, and the most important thing when choosing a clinic was a one-doctor system where the same surgeon is responsible from the first consultation through surgery and follow-up. More than anything, I did not want to use an implant again, but most clinics explained that donor rib or donor dermis would be needed to maintain the current height, and personally I felt a very strong psychological resistance to using another person's tissue. I searched through a lot of reviews of contracture and revision nose surgery, and most of the reviews with a natural, refined result were from ALU Plastic Surgery. At first I ruled it out because of the cost, but the biggest reason I ended up choosing Dr. Kim Hyun-ju was confidence in the result. During the consultation, she explained my current nose condition and the direction of improvement very clearly, and I could feel her certainty about the actual outcome, which built trust. The surgical plan was Inofit 3D custom autologous costal cartilage mold, nasolabial angle correction, lowering the columella, and correction of a bulbous nose. Rather than simply raising the height, the plan focused on improving the overall structure and balance. Unlike people in their 20s and 30s, I worried that recovery might be slower because of my age, but it has now been two weeks since surgery, and as the swelling gradually goes down, it feels like everything is settling in naturally. Before, my mouth looked protruded, but that was corrected with the nasolabial angle and columella lowering. The harvest site for the rib cartilage was barely uncomfortable after 2 to 3 days, and I was surprised that I had no bruising on my face at all after surgery. I am very satisfied because the nasal line and overall impression seem much softer and more natural :) Above all, I am so happy to have a pretty nose without an implant.
