Whew, I was so worried for the full two weeks while preparing, but whatever the outcome, I feel relieved now that the surgery is over!! I’m on my way home in a taxi after the operation!! First of all, the doctor and nurses were so warm and friendly that they really helped me relax, and I’m grateful.. Being awake throughout the surgery felt so stressful, but now that it’s over, I realize it was nothing special haha I had the silicone removed, left the support structure in place, had my nostrils reduced, and reinforced the bridge with fascia. I also had a pretty noticeable columellar scar, so I mentioned that several times, and I think they took special care of it. Right now I have a splint and nasal packing on, so there isn’t any obvious difference in the shape yet, but I kept saying things like “please make it pretty even if it’s just ordinary” while I was kind of dazed during the operation.. Afterward, the doctor said my nose had become very normal, which made me laugh lol... For now I’ll need to focus on recovery after the treatment, and I’ll only know the final result after the splint comes off, but for the moment I’m just relieved and need to rest well. I had nowhere to let out my thoughts in the taxi home, so I wrote this at length lol I’ll be rooting for everyone who is preparing for surgery!!
