Since my LASIK surgery, I have been amazed every day by a world that is brighter than I expected. I had a slight stinging sensation and foreign-body sensation on the day of surgery, but the next day, I was moved when I opened my eyes and could clearly see the wall clock without glasses. At first, I had slight dry eye symptoms and nighttime glare, but they gradually stabilized with regular use of artificial tears. The improved quality of life from escaping the inconvenience of glasses and contact lenses was unquestionably the best choice.
