I had SMILE eye surgery with Dr. Kim at Yonsei Plus Ophthalmology in Bundang two years ago, and I am very satisfied. Before surgery, I had tests for intraocular pressure, refraction, corneal thickness, glare/halos, corneal shape, and corneal endothelial cells, and then had some kind of genetic test before receiving the procedure. They let me see all the test results, so I still have screenshots. My vision was almost negative before surgery, but my recent health check showed 1.5/0.9. You do not need a guardian on the day of surgery, and you can resume daily life the next day. There is only a little tearing, and almost no glare or eye stinging. The only downside of the doctor is that they are great in every other way, but because my lower eyelashes are structured to poke my eye, they pulled out all my lower eyelashes early on, so I remember it being painful and sad... They do all grow back, though...
