The pre-LASEK examination told me which of LASEK, LASIK, and SMILE would be possible. I had moderate-to-high myopia and average corneal thickness, so they said LASEK was possible; since I also already had dry eye, I chose LASEK. With an Avellino test, some other tests, and an acquaintance discount, it cost 1.9 million won, as of the end of last year. Including all eye drops, it would probably be about 2.2 million won. The first two days were the hardest, and it is good to have a caregiver. After that, I recovered quickly and could manage daily life; I was just a little careful when washing my face. It has been a year and a half since surgery, and I am very satisfied. My eyes were already dry, so I do not feel a major difference, but cutting onions is a bit harder lol. It is a surgery I wish I had done sooner.
