Nose Surgery Reviews

One year after rhinoplasty with no regrets

Hello! It has been exactly one year since my rhinoplasty, so I will write very honestly about what I have felt during that time. The surgery I had was like a full set(?): I raised my nasal bridge with silicone and had nasal-tip surgery using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. I had a complex about my nasal tip looking a little funny from the front, but after nostril lowering and alar reduction to refine the tip proportions, it may not look like a huge change, yet my entire image has changed so much haha. Up until one month after surgery, I was very cautious and it did not feel like my own nose, but it gradually began to feel like mine. At the one-year mark, it feels so much like my own nose that I forget I had surgery. Only when I almost hurt my nose do I think, “Oh right, I had rhinoplasty,” and become careful. Honest drawbacks and precautions I experienced over one year: When the weather turns cold, such as in winter or during seasonal transitions, I sometimes feel a slight twinge or numb sensation at the tip. (It gradually decreases over time.) Even now, one year later, I am still a little cautious about blowing my nose forcefully, so I have developed a habit of wiping it with tissue or blowing gently. Also, time is the answer for scars. If you apply ointment diligently and take good care of them, you can see them fade as time passes. I had surgery at [Clinic A].
