I decided on surgery because I had a short, bulbous nose. I diligently looked for reviews in this community, visited clinics, and had surgery at [Clinic A] two months ago. I used silicone and donated costal cartilage, and had surgery for a bulbous nose, short nose, and columella. I have recovered well so far without any particular issues. I hope to live without complications going forward. I was not seeking much height, so it was not raised a lot, but my nose length has naturally become longer than before surgery, and it seems slimmer too. The frontal view is nice, but my profile especially feels more striking.
