My side cheekbones and front cheekbones protruded slightly, and because my face was generally thin, I had a peanut-shaped face due to hollow cheeks. I considered shaving the bones, but heard that touching the bones could cause the flesh to sag later, so I chose to add volume. Since it was my first time, I chose filler over fat grafting. The clinic itself felt like a high-volume clinic. At the event price, it was 55,000 won per 1 cc, and I received 1 cc in each cheek, 2 cc total. At the consultation, they said the lateral cheeks have a broad area, so some people receive 2–3 cc, but I wanted only a subtle difference, so I chose a small volume. After anesthesia, the doctor injected the filler and pressed firmly to shape it. The popping sound as the filler went in was scary, but there was no major pain. It has all dissolved after two years, but I would be willing to get it again.
