I had a low nasal tip and a very prominent hump. The area below the hump looked blue like a bruise, so people often asked whether I had bruised it, and I was so stressed that I always retouched photos. I was also conscious of it whenever I saw my profile, and it stood out even more in photos, so after continuous deliberation, I decided to do it. At the consultation, I said I wanted a natural nose rather than one that was too high or obvious; after doing it, I think it turned out well without being excessive. Septal cartilage, autologous costal cartilage, and ear cartilage were used, and surprisingly, nothing except the autologous rib area hurt! My side profile is clearly different, and the bluish area has improved from before. A slight hump remains, but I like it because it looks natural. Even people I know say it looks good and does not seem like I had rhinoplasty!
