My nose after the original surgery had a slightly upturned tip and showed a lot of nostril, and the tip also looked blunt from the front, making my overall impression seem somewhat dull T_T As time passed, I became increasingly dissatisfied with its shape, so this time I decided to properly look for a place that does a lot of revision rhinoplasty. I consulted Dr. Kim Subin at Mark and had revision surgery. They replaced the existing silicone and used donated rib cartilage along with ear cartilage. I said that what bothered me most was that my nose looked short, my nostrils showed a lot, and my nasal tip looked spread out from the front..! During the consultation, rather than unconditionally making my nose higher, they explained that they would establish the nasal length and tip shape in a way that would not look awkward on my face, and that was what I liked most. Since it was a revision, I worried that swelling would last longer than after my first surgery. At the beginning, my nasal tip was somewhat swollen and felt awkward because of the swelling lol. But as time passed and the swelling subsided, my nostrils showed less than before, and my formerly short-looking nose now looks naturally longer, so my overall proportions seem much better T_T Most of all, from the front, my tip looks much less round and spread out than before, and I am most satisfied that in photos, my nose no longer catches attention before anything else… Since it was a revision, I was even more worried than during my first surgery, but it feels like the aspects I was concerned about have generally been addressed, so now I am just waiting for the remaining swelling to go down more lol. Personally, I think my nose now suits my face much better than after my first surgery, so I am very, very satisfied haha.
