1. ㅋㅂㅈ CT - O CCTV - O Guardian can watch in real time I went at 10 a.m.! There wasn’t much waiting, but there was someone getting ready for surgery! I’ve had chronic rhinitis since I was young, so I went to an otolaryngology specialist. After taking a CT, they said my nasal septum is slightly deviated to the right, and my side-profile nasal bridge is okay, but from the front my bridge is low and blunt, so an implant-free surgery might feel lacking. Since I said I wanted it natural without making my eyes look close together, they recommended 2.5~3 mm silicone, and because my nasal bones are wide, osteotomy; since there isn’t much septal cartilage for the tip, using a little septal cartilage plus ear cartilage; because it’s a bulbous nose, cartilage tying? and removing a little fat from the nasal tip. I’m timid so I couldn’t ask many questions! ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Still, the director was kind and said they would do only as much as I wanted and try their best!
2. ㅎㅌ CT- O CCTV - I couldn’t ask The consultant asked if there was a director I wanted, so I said I wanted the head director and consulted with that director! Like people said, there was a bit of waiting, and the director seemed busy, maybe because he had just come out of surgeryㅠㅠ The director looked at the CT and said that externally it doesn’t show, but I have a slight hump, so he would slightly rasp the hump. He said the septum is deviated, but it seems weak, so it shouldn’t be touched. When I said I wanted something natural, he said if my facial image changed too much it would look awkward, and he also thought it would be good to go natural, so he recommended a 3-3.5 mm bridge. Since septal cartilage can’t be used for the tip, he recommended donated costal cartilage. So I asked, for a first surgery, wouldn’t using donated costal cartilage make it too hard and pointy..? He said donated costal cartilage is usually used so it won’t droop, and because ㅇㅇ can’t use the septum, a natural result is possible with donated costal cartilage. Also, removing some nasal tip fat, bulbous nose correction, nasolabial angle; I do have some bony framework, but osteotomy isn’t necessarily needed. He also said I have facial asymmetry. The director looked busy, but I liked the consultation here the most; however, the price was really brutal …
3. ㅁㅌ CT -X Photo shoot There wasn’t much waiting! The director seemed like he had just come out of surgery. After taking photos, the director looked at them and said my nasal bridge is low and blunt. He placed silicone on my face while consulting. I said I dislike flashy looks and want something natural, so he recommended about 3.5 mm silicone. I said I had had a rhinitis laser procedure before, but he didn’t say anything about that. Nasal tip with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, bulbous nose correction, some kind of correction to prepare for the nasal tip lifting upward..? I couldn’t hear in detail.. Since my facial asymmetry is severe, even after surgery it will be asymmetric, but the asymmetry can’t be corrected. I do have some bony framework, but osteotomy is not absolutely necessary; it’s optional. He said I have a slight hump, so he would rasp it slightly. My mom asked whether they have CCTV, and he said they do, but if nothing happens, they won’t show it. As the reviews said, the director was a little intimidating, and maybe because he had just come out of surgery, he looked tired. But it seemed natural and safe, so since they don’t do surgery on weekends, I couldn’t set a detailed date for now, but I put down a reservation.
What does everyone think..? Since I’m from outside Seoul, if I want to do more consultation rounds I have to go up again; should I look into more places..? Consultation number 2 was the most detailed and longest, but the burden of donated costal cartilage and the price being more than 1 million KRW higher than numbers 1 and 3… So I’m scared, and I just did my eyes without really looking into it and they turned out uneven, so I’m planning to do my nose first this summer and revision double-eyelid surgery in winterㅠㅠ That’s why I want to be careful, and I don’t like flashy looks; I pursue a natural look.. Number 1 is all good, but I don’t really want osteotomy!
