Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of Be The New Clinic (formerly Konopi Clinic) in a community

It’s been 10 years since I had my nose surgery. Since the surgery, I’ve had the side effect of a lot of runny nose up to now, but I haven’t had side effects like contracture, inflammation, or redness of the nasal tip. They said there’s nothing that can be done about the runny nose..

As for the shape, from the time the surgery was first done, the columella length was made short.. so aesthetically, that part isn’t pretty I don’t know if it’s because my nostril position was originally a bit asymmetrical, but even after the nose surgery, the asymmetry still shows, and in the early stage after surgery, when the splint was removed, the nasal bridge looked a little crooked, so they straightened it by hand then, and I did wonder, is this right..? But after the swelling went down, the crooked nasal bridge actually looked okay.

I had silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. They didn’t recommend nostril/alar base reduction, but I sometimes wonder whether the result would have been better if I had also done the nostrils, as recommended during consultations at other hospitals, or whether not doing the nostrils like now is what makes it look natural. Since there’s no way to know, I’ll pass on that.

In the end, the columella shape of my nose isn’t exactly to my liking, but the fact that I still haven’t had any major side effects like contracture after 10 years, and that they operated naturally without making it excessive, are okay.
