I got surgery for a hump nose~~ + Review including functional rhinoplasty and donated costal cartilage

I’ve always liked a refined + glamorous look, and while there are other things I can change by dressing up or styling myself, the nose is really a part that makeup just can’t properly cover, so in the end I got rhinoplasty. The hump nose in particular stressed me out the most. When I was looking into rhinoplasty, at first I checked reviews, and since cosmetic surgery apps were easier for browsing reviews than here, I looked into it through those apps. If I liked the photos at first > I checked the hospital website + YouTube to figure out how the director usually explains rhinoplasty, then looked to see whether there were cases similar to mine and made my judgment. That way, I had narrowed it down to 4-5 places to visit for consultations. But one mistake I made was lol..... I thought if I researched this thoroughly before going, the in-person consultations would also go smoothly, you know? But maybe because most of them were popular hospitals, it was so hard to book consultations Everyone going to Louvre, seriously, make sure to book several weeks in advance. Otherwise it’s hard to get the time slot and date you want. You have to consider all these things too when getting consultations. I also ended up having it done a few weeks later than I originally expected, but honestly I don’t really regret waiting. Before that, I had already gone around to other hospitals for consultations, and putting the consultation itself aside, there wasn’t any hospital where I thought I really liked the nose shape. This place had already been my No. 1 in terms of aesthetic taste, and when I went for the consultation too, the director’s aesthetic and mine matched well, so I really liked it. And we decided the hump would definitely be corrected, and after checking with a CT scan, they recommended doing functional rhinoplasty together as well. They said I could get reimbursed, so since I was doing it anyway, I decided to receive both cosmetic and functional treatment. I also needed to use costal cartilage, but for autologous costal cartilage, my skin is on the fair side, and the scar burden felt too big, so I said I wanted to use donated costal cartilage, and the director said okay without pressuring me. When I occasionally went around for consultations, I noticed that places that insist on only one material always have a reason... lol If they insist on donated costal cartilage > they aren’t good at handling autologous costal cartilage If they insist on autologous costal cartilage > it brings in more money, and regardless of whether it’s a primary surgery or whatever, they recommend the material that is easier to use for correction It’s not always necessarily for these reasons, but I thought there was at least some of that basis underneath. It took almost two months until I booked the consultation + surgery date (I think this took a bit long because it didn’t match my schedule either) When I had surgery, I also did two functional procedures and got reimbursed through indemnity insurance. And the nose is really.... about weeks 1-2 are a complete dark period, and somehow during that time it feels like I’m the only person in the world with all the swelling, and my nose felt tight and there was a slightly throbbing pain too, so it bothered me, but after about week 3, I got used to it, and I think it got better as I gradually regained how to use my facial expressions(?). The most important thing is my nose shape....... I really love it so much.. It went from a chestnut-shaped nose to a refined, sexy nose..... lol I really like it, and people around me also said it was good that I did it, so I felt really proud. Thinking about it again, I’m glad I stuck to my own view and had the surgery with donated costal cartilage. Anyway.. I think once you get the nose done, it really changes your overall image dramatically. Before, I didn’t often hear that I looked feminine, you know lol but now I hear it often
