Nose Re-Surgery

2 weeks after complete removal due to hematoma and inflammation

Right after the removal, my nose became shorter overall and more upturned than my natural nose, but as the swelling went down a bit, the contraction suddenly progressed a lot within just a few days. You can tell from the photo, but one side became shorter and lifted more, and the area above the nostril wing became more sunken.

I think the deeper depression may have been there from much earlier, but I’m not sure whether it’s because tissue adhesions from the inflammation became severe, or because too much fatty tissue was removed while correcting the bulbous nose. At the time of the first surgery, even though the swelling was severe, the shape was symmetrical.

I kept having nosebleeds on the side that looks rolled upward in the photo, and I think the inflammation was probably severe on that side. I wonder if that’s why the contracture reaction is coming more strongly there.

It’s not easy to stay mentally steady, and I don’t know if it will come down with time
