A I got scared after seeing people say they were unfriendly, but they were kind They asked if I was going to remove the silicone even though I don’t have any side effects. They said it may actually be better to remove it when there are side effects (The consultant said that too) They told me to ask anything I didn’t know, and they explained things well before I even asked what I was curious about, so I didn’t really have anything else to ask They said that if it looks sunken after removing the silicone, they would shave/contour it to match For removal + lowering the nasal tip, do they leave the nasal tip? They remove only the silicone, then open it up and if something looks off, they may need to manipulate it a little more
B Here too, like A, they asked whether I really wanted to do it even though I don’t have any side effects At first I wanted to remove only the silicone, so I asked, and they said it’s possible with a closed approach, but if I only remove it, there is a possibility of a saddle nose and the shape probably won’t look pretty. When I said I didn’t know roughly how the shape would turn out, they drew pictures and explained it, and even when I asked the same thing several times, they answered everything without seeming annoyed at all and kept drawing to help me understand I was touched.. +I told the consultant I wouldn’t post about it, but I’m writing this in case it can help even a little if there’s someone like me! Personally, I liked the consultant because she felt like an auntie. She was so cute
C Here they recommended complete removal I wondered if they originally only do complete removal, so I asked the consultant, and she said the director recommends partial removal only to people who are able to have only part removed But in my case, on CT, there was a lot of silicone, so they recommended complete removal, and there was a sunken area visible, so there is a possibility of a saddle nose +The nasal tip needs to be lowered, and if it still looks hollow after that, they recommended filler at that point I said I was worried it might collapse if the septal cartilage is removed too, but they said that wouldn’t happen and that they had never once seen someone collapse from it, so I felt reassured
Even though I went in knowing nothing, everyone was kind and explained everything from A to Z without acting annoyed, but what bothers me is that, like the directors at A and B, they said, “Why do it when it’s not inflammation or contracture?” so I’m still debating... If I do it, I’m considering complete removal!
