Nose Re-Surgery

I heard philtrum reduction makes revision rhinoplasty difficult

I found this out a few days ago while getting a consultation at a clinic because of nose implant removal. They said that if you get philtrum reduction, blood flow decreases at the sutured area, so theoretically, columellar necrosis can occur.. They were very pessimistic and said that any proper doctor couldn’t possibly be unaware of the risks inherent to philtrum reduction surgery itself I’m on my third nose surgery, and I had philtrum reduction at a clinic about 2 years before my last nose surgery. Thankfully, there were no particular problems during my last nose surgery, so they said there probably wouldn’t be any major issues with this removal either. But I’m leaving this here in case anyone here is in the same situation as me and wants to take it into account. Honestly, with philtrum reduction, the scarring really causes a lot of trouble in many ways Having a long midface had been a lifelong stress for me, so at the time I kind of went for it impulsively, but I guess when you gain something, you also lose a lot.
