To be exact, it's been 19 years. I was busy making a living, and the contraction is very severe and my nose is short. Would I be able to have removal even now? I've now been to consultations at two places, and both talked about total removal followed by reconstruction using rib membrane. But is it possible to just have total removal and live like that? It doesn't have to be pretty. I just want to live like a normal person again, like before. For reference, I had silicone on the nasal bridge, ear cartilage at the nasal tip, and paranasal augmentation, but if I take all of this out, will it look even stranger? Do I really have to undergo reconstruction after total removal? I desperately need help.
