I had donor costal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, 3 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, hump nose osteotomy, alar reduction, and nostril lowering. For over a week now, every night or evening when I’m leaning back to sleep, my nasal dorsum and nasal tip swell up hard and turn red. There’s also some heat sensation. The glabella swells very slightly. Around the starting point of the silicone, and the nasal dorsum and nasal tip, I feel throbbing, tightness, and pulling. There’s also pressure. And I had nostril lowering, but I don’t know if it’s just my imagination or because the swelling is going down, but it also seems like my nostrils are a bit more visible than before. I made an appointment with the director who operated on me at the hospital, but it was scheduled for 3 weeks later...

I had a straight-to-slightly-curved, flashy nose, so I had it lowered once through early correction. After that, it still seemed too high, so I had the silicone removed and left the nasal tip cartilage in. Even so, my nose still looks high
