I did it in high school when I didn't know much about beauty, so back then I wondered why I even did it. But from my college years until now, I've been living while feeling grateful to my parents for taking me to the dentist by the hand to get braces then. Thinking about it, orthodontics is one of the beauty treatments/surgeries that takes the longest and costs a lot, so it's not easy to make up your mind, but I think the effect is definitely real. There's nothing better than orthodontics for creating a clean, neat impression. These days when I look in the mirror, the center of my upper and lower teeth doesn't line up. Back then I was young and knew nothing, so I was just happy that the orthodontic treatment was finished, but if it were now, I think I would have asked them to adjust it. In that sense, I think it's better to do it when you're a bit older. I still fall asleep while wearing my retainer whenever I remember. When I put it in after a long time, it feels tight too, so I'm a little scared it might shift back.
