Before surgery, my contact lens prescription was -6.5, so my vision was quite poor. Since I had worn contact lenses for over 8 years, I was very worried that my corneas might have become thin and that I might not be able to have surgery, but my test results came out pretty good, so I had the surgery right away. At 6 months post-op, both left and right were 1.2, and now that it has been over 1 year, I think both left and right are around 1.0.
