The nasal dorsum where the autologous cartilage was removed seems slightly higher than my pre-surgery nose.. It was on the low side, but I don't know if it is the capsule or swelling; it looks good.. About 93% of the swelling in the nasal tip has gone down now. The shape of the nasal tip is very slightly higher than before, but it has returned about 92% to my pre-surgery nose.. I am fairly satisfied.. There is no upturning of the nose.. No contracture either.. The nasal tip is also soft.. The nostrils are barely visible, so I am very satisfied.. For those planning removal, stay strong and do not worry too much. Consult well with the director at the hospital where you had surgery, and I wish you good results.. For reference, after removal, right now I am wetting a small towel with water, heating it in the microwave, and using it as a warm compress on my face.. It also supplies moisture to the skin, is good for blood circulation, and makes the skin better.. I think it is very good..
