Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I had nose revision surgery (this post is long.. just rambling)

(Before revision surgery: the two on the left / Recent: the two on the right) Hello~ Two years ago I had septal cartilage + silicone at a hospital in Busan that was famous for noses. Thinking about it now, I really regret it ㅠㅠㅜㅜ흐ㅡ그흑ㅜㅜ I knew nothing about plastic surgery, didn’t even go around for consultations at different hospitals, just went there and left my body in the doctor’s handsㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ(Seriously, everyone, please go to many consultations.) I still don’t even know how many mm they used back thenㅠㅠ.. Looking back now, I think that place was really full of brokersㅋ Back then I didn’t even know what the septum was...; (the columella getting hard and things like that) I just thought if you got a nose job, it would automatically turn you into a celebrity noseㅋㅋ Anyway, the really awful thing about that hospital was that after anesthesia, a different deputy director did the surgeryㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ damnㅋㅋㅋㅋ I had tape stuck over my eyes and stuff, so I had no ideaㅠㅠ They never even said they would touch the bone, but they shaved so much bone that it became lowerㅡㅡ Anyway, I was ruined there.. Because they shaved the bone, even if I wanted to take the silicone out and just live normally, I couldn’t.. If I took it out, it felt like I’d only have nostrils leftㅠㅠ My nose was a difficult one, and it was my fault too for not getting enough consultations and just rushing into it..ㅇㅇ Before surgery, my nose had no bridge at all between the eyes, but below that the bridge was really high and the nose was a bit short? Something like that. It gave off a cute face vibeㅋㅋㅋ But the reason the first surgery failed was that, unusually, that hospital made you come every day for a week and get antibiotics twice a dayㅋ and I had side effects from the antibiotics.. That was the first time I realized I had that kind of reaction. I went completely crazyㅋㅋㅋ My fever went over 40 degrees, I got red hives all over my body including my face, it itched andㅠㅠ but of course you can’t scratch your nose, and I kept vomiting and collapsingㅋㅋ I went to the emergency roomㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ At that time I really thought I was going to die like my grandfather... Maybe because of that side effect, when I looked at the splint, the silicone had bent and its height had dropped too.. And the tip of the silicone looked like it was sticking out near the eyebrow areaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What is this? It’s not even like it was trying to show off that I had silicone in there, so I complained to the hospital and they put filler there;; But filler gets sunken too, right? I said that, and they kept saying they’d put more in whenever it sank.. until I became a grandmother..? Hmm. Still, I thought maybe I’d just live like that, but after my friend bumped my nose with their head, inflammation started right awayㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ wow.. (After nose surgery, it’s really so uncomfortable that you can’t even joke around easily for fear of bumping it, and when you pass through crowded places you get these weird thoughts that someone might hit your noseㅠ) That scary inflammation... but at that Busan hospital they kept giving strange injections into my nose, pressed hard on my nose to drain blood (really painfulㅜ), and gave me antibiotics againㅜ.ㅜ They say if inflammation comes, the implant has to be removed, but at that time the doctor never said to take it out. As I said, I was a total beginner about plastic surgery, so I was like, ah, I guess it’s all healed~ and left it at thatㅋ But then contracture progressed..^^... The contracture slowly came on, and recently it honestly felt like rainwater was going to pour right in, and my nose became totally upturned ㅜㅜ The tip disappeared, and it became like a parrot beak noseㅠㅠ I was under a lot of stress. It’s the kind of nose that’s worse than not having surgery at all, but because it felt hard to the touch, everyone knew I’d had nose surgery, and that made me depressed. One person didn’t know I’d had nose surgery, but they told me, “You’re pretty, but if only you had a nose job, you’d really be perfect”;;...... I couldn’t even say I’d already had it and it was in this stateㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I forced a cool laugh and just said okay and let it pass. Then I thought this was getting way too bad, so I went up to Seoul, which takes 4 hoursㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ for my nose!!@@ This time I held my boyfriend’s hand and went to many consultations for two days around Gangnam and Apgujeong ㅌㅋㄽ ㄱㄹㄷ ㅇㅈ ㅁㅍㅋㅋ ㅇㅇㅇ and so on, more than 10 places, but I can’t remember them all ㅜㅜ; At the consultations, most hospitals were saying there would be dramatic effects, and that they’d use costal cartilage to lengthen my contractured nose and raise the height too, and then I’d have a face like a celebrity..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Really, the way the consultation managers talk is no joke. I got tempted without realizing it, and when they showed before-and-after photos, it felt like I could become one of those people tooㅋㅋㅋㅋ But in the end I went to a hospital in Gangnam that specialized in revision surgery. There I even got consultation fees waived for the things that were healed best. The director pointed out in detail that my nose currently had a ton of scar tissue and felt like a boulder, and that my original nose wasn’t a type that could be raised much. At first I felt a bit bad because he was being so honest and saying there wouldn’t be much effect, and that even if I had surgery this time, I’d need another one six months later to get results I’d be satisfied withㅋ And he said not to use costal cartilage, but to use ear cartilage. At first I thought, what is this place? I figured I’d have to get surgery somewhere that would use costal cartilage to make a doll nose, but when I got home and kept thinking about it, I’d heard costal cartilage is the last resort too, and it’s really hard.. But if I can do it with ear cartilage, wouldn’t that be better? And I also thought it would be hard to make a doll nose from my nose as it is now. It felt like it was all just sales tactics to make money, but I thought the last hospital was being honest with me, so I got surgery there. Today is day 7^^* It’s not the kind of nose that’s sharp and raised like other people’s, or one that makes you want to say “Please give me info!!” It’s just that the upturned nose from the contracture has come down a bit~ There may not be a dramatic effect, but I want to believe I chose the right hospital I guess I’ll know after about a month, but the tip hasn’t come down completely. In that case, should I just live with it, or should I have one more surgery in 6 months like the doctor said? And on the day they remove the stitches, I’m planning to go to a salon to wash my hair and cut it a bit. Cutting hair shouldn’t be a problem, right?ㅋㅋ (Sorry it’s so long♡ Everyone, don’t do multiple knife jobs like me; do it beautifully in one go, and before doing it, really think a lot~~~~~~~!!)
