Nose Re-Surgery

When using septal cartilage, the support strut and extension length..??

With septal cartilage, if they place a support strut and do extension lengthening, does that mean there is septal cartilage in the support strut, and also separately septal cartilage in the part where the length was extended? I thought cartilage was inserted only into the support strut to extend the length, but after reading people’s reviews, someone said when they had removal, they left a little of the support strut and removed all of the cartilage used for extension lengthening. Is the extension-lengthened part the protruding columella area? My nasal tip has become extremely long now too. Does that part only get shorter if the whole support strut is removed? If the extension-lengthened part is removed, does the protruding columella part get shorter.. Ah, I don’t know what’s what.. The nasal tip height is also very long, like Pinocchio, and from the front, the columella has descended. When removing it, if complete removal is extremely dangerous, then even if a little cartilage is left, they would need to remove it while correcting things like that so the nasal tip area can return to normal, but I’m confused./.
