Nose Re-Surgery

Removal of nasal silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage

10 days ago, I had nasal surgery with 1 mm nasal silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. But I don’t like the fact that there is an implant, and before, my nasal tip was closer to a straight nose, so my nostrils didn’t show when viewed from the front. After the surgery, my nasal tip was lifted and my nostrils showed, so I had a consultation and had everything removed yesterday, on the 10th day. When I looked at myself in the mirror after surgery, even though the cartilage had been removed, my nasal tip was still lifted just the same. The hospital said that if the cartilage is removed, the nasal tip is supposed to come down, so I should wait until the swelling goes down. Because my nasal tip is lifted, my nostrils are visible from the front, and my side profile looks short. For now, in terms of sensation, my nose feels like it used to, but as I said above, because of the lifted nasal tip and the short-looking feeling from the side, I’m going crazy. In cases like this, does it get better with time?? Oh, and it seems like both sides of my nose are very slightly asymmetrical. Will that get better too?
