It’s been over two months since my nose surgery. I also have a severe foreign-body sensation, and there are so many uncomfortable things in daily life, so I’m thinking about removal after 6 months have passed. When I said I wanted removal after one month, they said if I still wanted removal after 6 months, I should contact them and they would remove it.
Even after surgery my anxiety was severe, so I’m having bad skin trouble too. Tiny bumps and redness on my nose... have covered my noseㅜ They say some patients who have nose surgery are like this sometimes. Is that right? I guess it is, right? Dermatology and the hospital say it’s a temporary symptom, so I can just endure it and wait, right^^?
If I do removal, I’m anxious about having surgery again. Are there factors that can occur when removing the nose implants? There are posts saying nose surgery has a lot of side effects. Are there side effects with removal too?? After removal, do you also tape and disinfect like after surgery, and does it take 6 months to return to the previous nose?
Things like decreased nasal function?? What does it mean when people say the nose becomes hard?? For those who had nasal implant removal, about what percentage did your nose return to your old nose?? Even if it doesn’t return much to my old nose, I want to remove the silicone or ear cartilage in my nose. What I want most is to be able to wash my face freely and thoroughly like before. Right now it’s so uncomfortable, the act of washing itself.
