Nose Re-Surgery

Rhinoplasty review 5 ........... Photos

It’s been almost 3 months since I lowered the septum and removed the silicone. Before removal, I struggled through every day with inflammation and pain, going through hell fifteen times a day, and after removal, I spent every day worried about contracture and the shape, so there wasn’t a single easy day. Then after about a month, my nose gradually started to recover, and as the tightness loosened, I thought, thank God. My nose doesn’t seem to be getting contracture. Is it because of the support? Or because I spent money on it? Or is it just my constitution? I kept wondering, and after 2 months I was like, huh? It looks almost the same as my original nose!! Maybe the tip is a little higher? Since I didn’t go through any serious changes after the removal, I now think of surgery too easily, and wonder if even if I remove all the remaining support, there won’t be a big change? If everything is removed, the shape may be a bit worse, but if there’s not much difference, wouldn’t it be better to remove it, rub my nose all I want, and live at ease? Anyway, I went through so much from surgery that my expectations for the appearance of my nose are no longer very high. I’m not a celebrity, and these days even the symptom of my nose being pulled sharply upward seems to have mostly disappeared... Should I remove the remaining parts? Or not? It’s not even a difficult procedure, right? I was thinking about it so casually. Until today, when I went out and saw something I should not have seen. Earlier, I went out to eat and ran into a woman at a restaurant, and I was really shocked. Ah... so that’s what a columella being pulled inward looks like, that’s what a lifted tip looks like, that’s what alar rims being pulled upward look like. So that’s what it means when people say you can only see the nostrils even from far away. I was really surprised. I kept wondering whether contracture had actually happened, or whether the cartilage removal made the tip disappear and caused it to look like that. There’s no way my original nose could have taken that shape. How on earth does it end up like that? It really didn’t feel like someone else’s problem, and I thought rhinoplasty really does destroy people. And seeing with my own eyes what I had only seen in photos and heard about in words was truly shocking. I’m caught up in another serious conflict again. Should I just not rub my nose, avoid hitting it hard, be careful, and just live like that? When will the war with my nose finally end? Lastly, I’m posting one photo before I go. The alar shape doesn’t seem to have changed much anymore, and it feels soft. I think the shape is fully settled now. Right after removing the silicone from the bridge, because of the swelling it looked almost the same as before removal and even looked higher. Later, when most of the swelling had gone down, the remaining swelling between the eyes made it look too flat, so I was a little disappointed. But once the swelling fully goes down, the nasal line looks a little more defined again, so it gets better.
